Gentle Recovery from the Start
Good dental treatment doesn't end when the operation is over, but only when everything has healed well. PRF uses concentrated, autologous blood components to gently support this natural rebuilding process.
- •Support for the Tissue: A surgical procedure requires time from the body for regeneration. Natural support can help this process run more harmoniously.
- •Biological Building Block: The harvested fibrin serves as a kind of natural plaster and biological scaffold in the wound area.
- •Important Cell Components: The processed concentrate brings valuable natural proteins and healing-promoting cells directly to where they are needed.

What Exactly Is PRF?
PRF stands for Platelet-Rich Fibrin. It is a concentrate that we obtain in the practice by centrifuging a small amount of your own blood.
Because we completely avoid animal substitutes or artificial chemicals in this procedure and use only your own body tissue, the applied membrane is generally very well accepted by the body. The risk of intolerance is correspondingly low.

Why PRF at Our Clinic?
Supported Healing
The concentrated components can contribute to positively accompanying the healing process of gum tissue and bone after the procedure.
Good Tolerance
Since only your own natural blood is involved in the end product, allergic foreign reactions are virtually ruled out.
Gentle Protection
The resulting PRF membrane can be placed over the treatment area like a wound dressing, providing additional protection.
Sustainable Foundation
Undisturbed healing is an important foundation for subsequent dental steps, such as placing an implant.
Experiences from Our Practice
A Biological Building Block
The PRF procedure integrates well into many surgical treatments. During our consultation, we are happy to explain whether this method is suitable for your planned procedure.
Should we plan the use together, we present any costs transparently in advance in the treatment and cost plan.
When PRF Is Suitable
The procedure is used as a complementary measure:
- ✓To promote stable and smooth integration of the artificial tooth root.
- ✓To biologically stabilise newly introduced bone material.
- ✓For natural support of wound closure in the tooth socket.
- ✓To promote tissue regeneration around the treated root tip.
- ✓To support wound healing in gum procedures.
The Straightforward Procedure
Small Blood Draw
Directly before the actual treatment, we gently draw some blood from your arm vein – similar to a normal blood test at your GP.
On-Site Processing
The tubes go into a medical centrifuge for about 10 minutes, which gently separates the blood into its relevant components.
Placement
While the surgeon operates, the freshly created biological structure (the 'membrane') is introduced at the necessary site in the jaw.
The Healing Process
The autologous material can now fulfil its purpose, gradually integrating with the surrounding tissue and gently supporting the healing period.
Experiencing Operations in a Relaxed Manner
Dental surgical procedures cause some concern for many people beforehand. The PRF therapy integrates so gently into the process that you barely notice the centrifugation and preparation. If you generally feel uncomfortable during treatment, we also offer these procedures in a stress-reduced manner under general anaesthesia.
Mehr zu unseren Comfort-Optionen →Nature provides us with valuable building blocks for good healing. By purposefully integrating the body's own resources into therapy, we support your well-being through biological means.
